As a sales representative I aim to provide friendly and immediate service to our dealers and their customers. With my paddle-sports retail background, SUP instructor trainer qualifications, and continued employment as a white water canoe guide, I hope my first hand experiences will be valuable to those that we’re called on to help.

I grew up on the shores of Lac Deschenes, a long lake on the Ottawa River, and a love for Canada’s lakes and rivers was instilled in me while I was very young. From 2003 until 2010 I worked for Wally Schaber and Chris Harris at Trailhead in Ottawa. Sales, department management, boat outfitting, deliveries, and driving shuttles deep into the backwoods of Quebec are but a few of the different jobs that I had there. They taught me much about the business of outdoor retail and I consider myself as having completed a business apprenticeship with them. Their support has equipped me with the skills and commitment to turn my love of paddle sports into a career.

Like Mark and Paul, I’m also a Black Feather guide. The Ottawa Valley holds a special place in my heart and I’ve tried to explore all of the main routes in this enormous watershed. Several trips down the Nahanni have shifted my interest slightly and I am excited to explore more of Canada’s Northern Territories. It’s such a great thrill to travel through these remote regions and see the remarkable scenery and wildlife that makes up the Canada. But what make these trips great are all of the wonderful people that I get to meet.  Whether its telling stories with my fellow guides; getting to know a new group of keen participants; or running into other adventurers in the wilderness; every trip is made memorable because of the people. I love sharing my enthusiasm and guiding has been a great vehicle for this.

I am thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Mark and Paul and I’m very proud to represent this stellar line up of brands. We have lots of fun projects in the works and I look forward to sharing them with you!
